A 19th Century antique French Empire dore bronze and marble mantel clock by Raingo Freres (Paris). Classic form body crafted from beautiful brown, green and gray marble stone, with ornate applied repousse flowers, wreaths, harps and laurel leaves, and an exquisitely detailed bronze plaque at bottom front, depicting tree trunks, a goat, and putti cherub musicians. Clock surmounted by a large mounted bronze eagle, with wings spread, and claws clutching a ribbon and wreath wrapped torch. Maker name in red script across upper quadrant of enameled clock face. Does not include key, or pendulum.
