Canadian. 1910s. Oak. Round top version. Features King Edward glass. 8-day spring driven time and strike movement. Strikes on a helical gong. Dial marked, "The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin, Canada" lower edge. Movement signed. Original finish. Replaced dial. Incorrect pendulum. Minor split to the gingerbread case between the I and II position. Original King Edward decal. Glass is cracked at the lower right quarter. Minor pressure split to the extreme upper right edge. This clock was running at the time of cataloguing, but its service history is unknown. From the Skip Kerr Collection. 24.25"H X 18.25"W X 5.5"D.

Rare. Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co, Berlin, Canada”. Full reproduction paper label is affixed to centre rear door, marked, “Galt Mantel Clock Made By The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Canada”. A paper seal is affixed to the paper label sold by “J. Pequegnat & Sons Jewellers Guelph, Ontario.”. 7.5″ x 15″ x 10.75″. Quarter cut oak case has its original finish. The painted metal dial has minor scratches in the lower quarter at the 4 and 8. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.

Original paper dial is worn surrounding the perimeter. Mechanism complete with correct pendulum assembly.
