Canadian. 1920s. Dark oak. 8-day spring driven time and strike movement. Strikes on a tuned rods, a factory ordered upgrade. Tin dial. The Hamilton model was made in two styles, the larger "Tall" version and the shorter "Wide" version. Paper on inside of backboard. Dial marked, "The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Canada" lower edge. Original finish. This clock was running at the time of cataloguing, but its service history is unknown. From the Skip Kerr Collection. 11.25"H X 15"W 6.5"D.

Dial stamped, “Pequegnat” below the 12. Movement stamped, “Pequegnat Clock Co.”. Full paper label affixed to the centre interior rear door marked, “Hamilton Eight-Day mantel Clock The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Kitchener, Canada.”. 6.5″ x 15″ x 11.5″. The left column is loose. The painted metal dial has scattered minor scratches. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.

Strikes on tuned rods. Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Canada”. Full paper label is affixed to the interior floor marked, “Hamilton Citadel Mantel Clock Made By The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Kitchener Canada.”. 6.5″ x 15″ x 11.5″. There is evidence of charring from a fire to the rear lower quarter below the door. The distressed copper tone bezel shows oxidation. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.

Rare. Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co, Berlin, Canada”. Full reproduction paper label is affixed to centre rear door, marked, “Galt Mantel Clock Made By The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Canada”. A paper seal is affixed to the paper label sold by “J. Pequegnat & Sons Jewellers Guelph, Ontario.”. 7.5″ x 15″ x 10.75″. Quarter cut oak case has its original finish. The painted metal dial has minor scratches in the lower quarter at the 4 and 8. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.

Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Canada” lower edge. Full paper label is affixed to the lower quarter of the rear door marked, “Jewel Mantel Clock Made in Canada The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin Canada”. 6.5″ x 13.25″ x 10.25″. There is a faint watermark on the top of the case at the centre. The porcelain dial is in near perfect condition with the exception of two hairlines extending from the centre dial to the 8 and to the 2 that are approximately 1 inch in length.

Among Pequegnat’s more original designs. Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co Berlin, Canada” on lower edge. Movement stamped, “Pequegnat Clock Co Berlin, Ont.”. 6″ x 13″ x 21″. Oak case retains original finish with uniform surface craze. Mechanism complete with correct pendulum assembly and winding key. Dial exhibits paint craze and light discolouration. A paper label is attached the lower quarter of the rear door. Another label had been placed over top.
