A 19th century carved French gallery clock by Samuel Marti et Cie. 8-day time and strike movement with visible escapement, two-part porcelain dial and Roman numerals. Carved Walnut case with Man's head, flanked by Rampant Lion and Horse figures, open scrollwork with floral and foliate design with lower bird figures. Older finish with minor wear, minor damage, supports added to rear of case, running when cataloged. 21 3/4" high. ESTIMATE $600-800
