Early 20th century. Having a very fine enameled clock dial surround and backed with 14k gold frame and centered by a 1/4 ctw round cut emerald and 1/4 ctw round cut diamond in gold settings. W1 7/8" 30 grams standard all in Sold from the collection of a Pawleys Island, South Carolina lady.

E. Howard No. 397 Custom Regulator. 14 in. painted metal dial has Arabic hour numbers, sub-seconds dial, pierced diamond hands, signed E. Howard & Co. Boston. Quality brass weight driven No. 60 movement, has Graham deadbeat escapement, retaining power, signed E. Howard & Co. Boston; 4 jar mercurial pendulum with steel stick – numbered 397 and 3388 (dwt), isochronous beat adjustment on the top of the verge and original crank. In a custom cherry Colonial style case, has a tapered form with reverse graduated beveled glass panels in the door, arched bonnet with scrolled crest; restoration to base. Made for the M. Eisenstadt Jewelry Co. of St. Louis, MO, circa 1891, (as stated in a letter from Dana Blackwell). 79.5 in. high x 20 in. wide x 10.5 in deep.

Circa 1970 American Unsigned 8 Day Shelf Clock with 10″ Good original unsigned wood dial, Modern German 8 day movement, Unusual large clock made of various woods with interesting inlay..
