Painted metal dial has a 5.5 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, some paint loss, open center with brass alarm indicator disc, blued spade hands (rusted); spring driven movement No. 6 ¾, signed S. Thomas, Thomaston, Conn. U.S.A. has pierced brass plates, count wheel strike on coiled gong, separate bell and spring for alarm strike. Mahogany case with chamfered corners and gilt trim, reverse painted lower tablet with a colorful cluster of roses and leaves. 15.5 in. high x 11.5 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.
