A rare balance wheel operated spring driven painted cast iron and nacre inlay 10 1/2″ cottage timepiece signed on the dial “N. Pomeroy, Bristol, CT.” Noah Pomeroy 1813-1896 worked alone in Bristol, Connecticut 1858-1878.

Connecticut Federal tall case clock, by David Lowry, Newington, rare brass dial CT clock, Subsidiary second style and calendar window, the waist with an arched overlapping door flanked by inset fluted quarter columns over bse with a stepped out molded lower section, raised on OG bracket feet, apparently original finish, bonnet appears to have original fretwork and finials, circa 1790-1800
