A mid 19th century Noah Pomeroy "Octagon Top" model shelf clock by Jerome & Co. 8-day time and strike movement with painted metal dial and Roman numerals. Rosewood case with molded octagon top over a single long door with embossed Brass and Gutta Percha inserts on a simple molded base. Paper label 90% intact. Refinished with minor wear, some dial wear and flaking, running when cataloged. 13 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $200-400

Pomeroy Mahogany Octagon Lever Clock. 8 in painted metal dial has black Roman hour numerals, open cutout exposing the balance wheel and fancy blued hands; brass spring driven time only movement has a lever escapement and is signed ÂN. Pomeroy, Bristol, Ct, USÂ. In a mahogany octagonal case with brass door bezel; refinished, movement plates are cleaned and polished, not running, hands repaired and dial is repainted. 11.25 in. high x 11.25 in. wide x 2.5 in. deep.

Pomeroy, Bristol, Ct. U.S. In a cast iron mantle clock case, painted black with gilt stenciling and mother of pearl highlights. Case has some paint loss, dial is repainted and door bezel hinged is broken. 10.5 in. high x 8.5 in. wide x 2.5 in. deep.
