A late 19th century Gustav Becker wall clock. 8-day one weight time only movement with two part porcelain dial, Arabic numerals and seconds bit. Becker anchor mark and "Medaille D'or" stamps on backplate. Walnut case with an arched crest and carved fan over a long door with turned pilasters and galleried drop with carved detail. Nicely refinished with minor wear, replaced finials, running when cataloged. 52" high. ESTIMATE $400-600

Serial #78746 on movement and case, Becker anchor mark and "Medaille D'or" stamps on backplate. High quality contemporary figured Maple case with a three pillar crest over a glazed dial door flanked by cast pilasters above an open well with turned lower gallery and a shaped drop, all with extensive hand carved decoration and original Ebonized detail. Gustav Becker “Medaille Dore” Mini Clock: the 8 day time with half hour bell striking movement is also signed by the maker and numbered 1182041. The enamel dial with hours and minutes shown is 2 3/4″ wide and has no problems. The case has several figures, roses and open work.
