Early 20th century American ebonized wood case mantel clock. Done in Neo-Classical style with applied Romaneque column decorations and marbelized accents. Having a Celluloid dial enameled with Arabic numerals, behind a convex glass door. Fit with a Time and Strike movement. Pendulum and key are present. Case measures approx. 10-1/2″H x 16-1/8″W x 5-5/8″D. Will not ship, we can refer local shippers.

Probably Michael Dermer, Ochsenhausen, Germany, a later 18th century ebonized three train bracket clock, the case with molded top and base, the door with glazed, break arch aperture, and upper corners with gilt spandrels, sides also with glazed break arch openings, and flattened, molded bell top with cast brass carrying handle, gilt and engraved composite dial with silvered, roman numeral chapter ring, blued steel hands, and mock pendulum below 12:00, the arch with signed boss and subsidiary dials for strike control, brass, two day, three train movement with verge escapement and bob pendulum, striking petit sonnerie Viennese quarters on two bells, with grand sonnerie repeating on demand
