It appears to run better when upright vs lying on its back. We are unsure of the full service history, so we recommend a service after purchase at the buyers expense. The provenance is actually engraved on the back of this piece (please refer to images provided). This clock is from the collection of a lifelong military watch and clock enthusiast.
