A 19th century Mark Leavenworth & Son Empire shelf clock. 30-hour weight driven wooden time and strike movement with painted wooden dial and Arabic numerals. Mahogany case with a shaped carved crest and carved pineapple finials, over a door with clear dial glass and reverse painted lower flanked by carved foliate pilasters, carved paw feet. Paper label 80% intact. Older finish with some wear, minor dial wear, restored crest, finials and lower panel, running when cataloged. 30" high. ESTIMATE $300-500

Running at this time, but not guaranteed to continue. Top plate cracked. Brass finials look new. The dial is touched up.
