An eight day movement with painted dial and the four seasons and a moon dial. Condition feet replaced. Crack to arch top. Comes with weights. (Very Good). An early 19th century Scottish Grandfather clock. 30 hr weight driven time and strike movement by “John Hay, Leith” with original painted dial with date aperture and floral detail. Oak and Mahogany case with broken arch hood and shaped upper door flanked by turned columns, shaped waist door, above a simple paneled base with bracket feet. In running order. Case refinished with minor wear, minor repair. 86 1/2″ high overall.
