A 19th century French Louis XVI style Bronze mantel clock by Japy Freres, Beaucourt. Gilt Bronze case surmounted by a floral urn, Lion's mask handles, foliate swag, Apollo mask and shaped base. 8-day time and strike movement with convex porcelain dial and Blue Roman hour and Black Arabic minute numerals with fancy Gilded hands, serial #8414. Ferdinand Barbedienne (1810-1892, French), French Alabaster Gilt Bronze and Champleve Mantel Clock, 19th c., surmounted by a gilt bronze of a seated child with a bird and a nest, atop an alabaster time and strike clock with a champleve face impressed F.
