French Japy Freres, “The Toiler” statue gilded metal mantle clock, c. 1874, timepiece with an elaborate sculptural case, the statue Japy Freres clocks were given names and personalities, depicted is a young peasant girl feeding a lamb with traditional musical instruments situated within the composition, Roman numerals upon a porcelain dial, chimes on the half and hour on a small bell, operating, with key, 15″h, 16.5″w, 6″d, 6.25lbs

French Japy Frères Painted Wood Mantel Clock: With a T&S movement signed “Japy Frères” and numbered 15858; an unmarked porcelain dial with hour and minute markers; and the pendulum. The case is painted with a courting scene and flowers and has a metal bird finial and metal trim and feet.

Japy Freres & Cie French Bronze & Marble Clock: made in 2 pieces, the marble base is separate. The time and half hour bell striking movement is signed Japy Freres & Cie, Jx Deniere-1856. The 4 1/4″ porcelain dial is also signed Deniere Ft De Bronzes- A Paris. The case has a woman, books and scientific instruments on it.
(The dial has chips at the 60 minute mark and the right hand key slot.)

Japy Freres Figural Dore Bronze Carriage Clock. Porcelain dial has a 2.25 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, open club hands and sub alarm dial; brass, spring driven movement strikes the hour on a silvered bell with hour repeater button on the top of the case, lever & platform escapement, movement does not run. In a heavy dore bronze case with standing figures on the corners, swirling leaf borders and a double figural handle; beveled glasses on 4 sides and the top. Movement is signed Japy Freres & Cie. 1855 Exposition, Grande Med. DÂ Honneur. 8 in. high x 5 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
