French Atmos Chrome & Glass Clock: metal tag on back “Brevets J.L. Ruetter S.G.D.G.”; number 4846; base marked Atmos France. Silver colored dial marked Brock and Co. with rotary pendulum dial.
(Dial is scratched; chrome is worn; 1″ crack in glass on right side upper corner; one hand is broken off, laying in case. Running condition not known.)

Typical Atmos perpetual movement with torsion pendulum. Case has gilt brass corner framed with reverse decorated black & gold leaf design on glass panels; designed with sailing ships on stormy seas. Rare and attractive clock in like new condition, original box, pamphlets and packing materials; in good running condition, case is signed on the base LeCoultre & Cie, Swiss, Caliber 526-5. 9 in. high x 7 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

LeCoultre Chinoiserie Atmos Clock. 4.5 in. metal dial signed ÂLe Coultre has applied brass hour markers with 5 minute numbers, gilt hands and brass bezel; 15 jewel 526-5 caliber typical Atmos movement with torsion pendulum having pendulum lock down lever inside the case, movement is not running. Case has gilt brass framing with beveled reverse decorated hard plastic panels on the front, top, rear and sides which is gilt decorated with Chinese scenes on a black background. This is an unusual clock and a beautiful case. 9.25 in. high x 7.25 in. wide x 5.25 in. deep.

LeCoultre, “Atmos V,” No. 76165. Made in the late 1950s. Fine, rectangular, gilt brass and glass Atmos clock wound by barometric pressure changes. C. Gilt brass, glazed on 4 sides and on the top, polished and brushed, stepped plinth base, leveling screws and spirit level in the base. D. Circular, applied gilt brass triangular and roman numerals. Gilt brass dauphine hands. M. Cal. 526-5, gilt brass, vacuum chamber winding the going barrel, lever escapement driven by annular tension pendulum, locking lever above the pendulum disc, regulator at the top. Case and movement signed. Height 22.5 cm., width 20 cm. Depth 15.5 cm.
