Vintage St. Joseph Aspirin lighted glass advertising clock by Telechron. Clock features outer convex glass, reverse on glass face, and composite can. Appears to be in nice working condition with paint loss on can and wear from use and age. Hour hand is loose. It measures approximately 15" in diameter.

A 19th century Joseph Ives mirror clock. 8-day weight driven Iron and Brass time and strike movement with painted metal dial with Roman numerals. Mahogany case with a scrolled crest and Brass finials over a door with reverse painted dial and lower glasses, mirrored center, flanked by flat reeded pilasters with scrolled tops. Older refinishing with wear and some restoration, repainted glasses, replaced weights, running when cataloged. 56 3/4" high. ESTIMATE 800-1,200

1818 Joseph Ives Mahogany 54″ column with mirror clock. This is a rare, early clock, as pictured in the Richard Bishop Book on American Clocks. Joseph Ives (1782-1862), Bristol, Conn. The case is mahogany with some mahogany venner frontings. Original upper glass over the dial. Original reverse painting. Metal dial is also original with original paint. Original wooden works replaced with Victorian brass. Center mirror. The present brass clockworks are marked E.N. Welch Mfg. Co., Forestville, Conn, U.S.A. The interior retains the original smoke grain paint finish. The clock measures approx. 54″ tall x 20″ wide x 5 1/2″ deep. Lower pendulum glass has crack in upper right corner.

Beautiful complete clock with 3 urn finials, full length door with 2 reverse painted tablets, painted Roman numeral dial with teardrop blued-steel hands flanked by bird’s-eye maple corbels, reeded flat columns flank the looking glass over the lower reverse-painting on glass, the blue sponge-painted interior, eight-day clock. Beautiful, rare, Joseph Ives clock! Measures approx. 54″ tall x 20″ wide x 5 1/2″ deep.
