A 19th century Bronze Fountain novelty clock by William Hart, Harrison, Chepstow, England, worked 1822-1848. 1-day fusee driven watch movement with engraved cock and Silvered dial with Roman numerals marked "Harrison, Chepstow, No. 5973". Bronze case with Gothic Revival design contains the timepiece above a fountain with a twisted glass automaton which operates on demand with a separate key wind mechanism. Original patina with Slivered and Gilded detail, some wear, replaced minute hand, running when cataloged. 10 3/4" high. ESTIMATE $1,000-1,500
