A late 19th century French mantel clock by Adolphe Mougin, Paris. 8-day time and strike movement with Apollo mask pendulum and convex porcelain dial with Arabic numerals and fancy filigree hands, serial #5399. Gilded Bronze case with an urn finial with foliate garlands above two Cherubs holding the movement aloft on a White Marble base with Gilded frieze and beaded feet. Slight wear, running when cataloged. 17 3/4" high. ESTIMATE $1,000-1,500
