Birge, Mallory & Co. Joseph Ives Connecticut Lyre Clock, Copy: circa 1960's to 70'; painted wood dial with cutout for a visible movement by Martha Smallwood with a weight driven, 8 day strap movement marked B.M. & Co.; in a custom gold leafed lyre case with a good interior label; the sunburst pendulum and the weights. Made of old and new parts.
Not tested.
(There is a small split in the wood at the bottom left hand side of the lyre.)

Birge & Mallory Triple Decker Clock, 8 day time and strike, weight driven, original painted dial. Signed Strap Brass movement. Clock has the original glass and paint “Mt Vernon” on the lower door glass. Circa 1840’s.
(case looks to have been restored, and the weights and feet are replacements from the originals.)

A mid 19th century Birge, Mallory & Co. double decker shelf clock. 8-day time and strike strap brass movement (stamped BM & Co) with a painted wooden dial. Mahogany case with carved Thistle crest, two pane upper door with reverse painted tablet flanked by turned columns over a lower door with reverse painted tablet, stepped base with carved paw feet. Older refinishing with minor damage, replaced tablets, running when cataloged. 38 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $400-600

A mid 19th century Birge, Mallory & Co. ogee shelf clock. 8-day strap Brass weight driven time and strike movement with painted wooden dial. Mahogany case with half columns, and single long door. Old finish with minor damage, lacks weights, replaced lower glass. 32″ high.

A 19th century Birge, Mallory & Co. column shelf clock. 8 day weight driven time and strike strap Brass movement with painted wood dial. Mahogany case with molded crown, upper long door with lower print behind glass, flanked by turned pilasters above a lower door with painted glass. Paper label 10% intact. Old finish with repairs, veneer damage, repainted dial and restored glass decorations. 33″ high.
