attributed to Kentucky, 1790-1820, walnut and cherry case with scrolled pediment centering an inlaid finial over trailing vine and bellflower inlay, waisted case with arched door inlaid with bellflower leaf and diamond inlay with cartouche inlaid surround, box base with chamfered corners centering heart lozenge and vine inlay, tall French feet and inlaid skirt, cherry backboard, case fitted with modern painted wooden dial and brass movement, two weights and pendulum, 92-1/2 in.

American Cherry Tall Case Clock, Circa 1835, 12″ painted dial has a 16″ arch, 8-day, associated brass movement, handsome cherry grandfather clock case typical of rural Pennsylvania, waisted case with swan’s neck pediment, inlaid base on turned feet, refinished cherry case has replaced upper door, original movement replaced with another movement of the same period. Height 93″.
