E.N. Welch Khedive Oak Mantle Clock: 8 day time with half hour gong strike and a 5″ dial with visible escapement on the Patti’s movement. The case is polished oak; with glass encased pendulum.
(The time of strike is off. The dial’s interior is fractured, the ring dial has a small fracture at the 12. The case is nice looking, but has many dimples in the wood below the dial. A label on the rear access door is partial.)

Welch, Forestville, Conn. “Khedive” Clock, Circa 1800, 5 1/2″ enamel dial with brass bezel & open escapment, 8-day, brass spring driven movement, oak case in dark refinish, clear beveled glass door, case excellent condition, hairline crazing on dial, movement complete and in fine working order. Height 18″.

E. N. Welch Khedive Shelf Clock. Quarter sawn oak case with turned columns, original finish. Porcelain dial with outside escapement dial, some hairline spider cracks to interior dial. 8 day time and strike spring driven brass movement. Ht. 17 1/2″.

Welch Mahogany Mantle Clock  Eveline. 5 in. brass dial has engraved hour numbers, trefoil hands, brass bezel with hinged door bezel having a beveled glass; brass 8 day spring driven Patti movement with pierced crossed ÂX in the front and back plates, hour strike mechanism, strikes on a coiled gong and has a brass covered pendulum bob. In a mahogany case with brass spindled gallery on the top, incised carved corner spandrels around the dial, gilt metal mount with maidenÂs head on the front and claw feet with filigree. In good condition and original finish, no breaks or losses to the case, movement is running and strikes the hour. 17.5 in. high x 14 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.
