N. Pomeroy Cast Iron Mantle Clock. 4 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals and open cutout exposing the beat adjustment lever & balance wheel; Brass, spring driven, time only movement has a lever escapement with large balance wheel, signed N. Pomeroy, Bristol, Ct. U.S. In a cast iron mantle clock case, painted black with gilt stenciling and mother of pearl highlights. Case has some paint loss, dial is repainted and door bezel hinged is broken. 10.5 in. high x 8.5 in. wide x 2.5 in. deep.
