Large brass dial has a silvered 12 in. chapter ring with applied gilt brass Arabic hour numbers, fancy scrolling gilt engraved center and spandrels, silvered sub seconds dial, sub dials for Chime-Silent & Westminster-Whitington, nautical moon phase dial and signed by the retailer Bailey Banks & Biddle; quality brass weight driven movement has Graham deadbeat escapement, quarter hour strike with 9 tubes, 3 quality brass weights & pulleys and 1 jar mercurial pendulum, signed Walter H. Durfee, Providence, RI on the top of the back plate, dial board, back of the moon phase disk and chimes. Mahogany case has a broken arched crest with applied brass rosettes and spun brass finials, spiral turned columns with brass capitols on the bonnet, body and base with beveled door glass with carved arched top and stands on claw feet. 103 in. high x 23 in. wide x 15 in. deep.

Quality brass time & strike movement, Graham’s deadbeat escapement, strikes on a single gong, signed on back of moon phase plate; quality brass weight, pulleys & pendulum bob with wood stick. Carved mahogany case with broken arch crest, turned finials and columns on the bonnet; original door glass with gothic mullion overlay, brass capitols on the columns and large paw feet at the base. Good original finish & condition. 103 in. high x 27 in. wide x 16 in. deep.

Durfee, Providence has black Roman hour numerals, black 5 minute numbers outside, sub calendar aperture, sub seconds dial, fancy engraved silvered dial center, brass back plate, gilt corner spandrels and arched moon phase dial at the top; quality brass weight driven movement with half hour strike on a coiled gong, brass covered weights and large brass 6 spoke brass pulleys. In an oak case with broken arched crest having brass mounts and spun brass finials, beveled door glass on the bonnet and lower door, spiral turned columns on the bonnet, body and base with beautiful carved inset lower panel and claw feet. Case has an older refinish. 96.5 in. high x 20 in. wide x 14 in. deep.

In an oak case with broken arch crest and rosettes on the bonnet, 3 brass finials, spiral turned side columns with brass capitols on the bonnet, body and base, beveled door glass and stands on carved claw feet. Quarter sawn oak case is in very good condition with a French polished finish. 96 in. high x 24 in. wide x 18 in. deep.
