Carved walnut ship clock case has a round top over carved scrolls and tapered rectangular base; 5.5 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals and sub seconds dial, signed Seth Thomas, has black spade hands. Seth Thomas time only brass movement, spring driven with lever escapement; in good running condition, balance swings freely, original finish. 14 in. high x 16 in. wide x 6 in. deep

American Seth Thomas “Eclipse” Walnut Parlor Mantle Clock, Circa 1885, 5 1/2″ replaced paper dial, 8-day, brass spring driven movement with alarm, one of the hard to find Seth Thomas “Ball Top” walnut parlor clocks, nicely restored case, good restored condition. Height 24 1/2″.
