Elaborate cast Brass case with filigree finial, Peacock figures on front and back, shaped body with mask detail and scrolled brackets on a molded base with turned feet. An early 19th century French Bronze table clock by Vincenti & Cie retailed by Robein, Paris. 8-day time and strike movement with silk thread suspension, marble dial with serpent hands and applied Roman numerals. White Marble case with Gilded Bronze figure of Amphitrite seated in a shell with waves beneath on a chamfered base with Gilded Bronze molding and feet. Only slight wear, replaced horn, running when cataloged. 18 3/4" high. ESTIMATE $1,000-1,500

Vincenti & Cie French Dore Silk String Clock: the time and ?? striking movement is signed Vincenti & Cie 1855 and numbered 540. The fancy 4 1/4″ dial has individual porcelain numbers. The case has a standing man and sword.
(Winds ok, but has no suspension, pendulum, gong or bell. The front cover is missing. The metal needs cleaned.)
