Austrian Silk Thread Wall Clock. 6 in. silvered dial signed ÂJoh. Martin Artz, MuchenÂ, has black incised Roman hour numerals, fluer de lis half hour markers and 5 minute numbers outside; brass 8 day spring driven silk thread movement has square brass plates, unsigned, with an hour strike on a bell and silvered crescent moon face pendulum bob. In a gilt carved wall hanging picture frame case with glass front door panel, applied brass filigree corner spandrels and eagle with grapevine patter around the open aperture below which exposes the swinging pendulum. Case is in excellent condition with original gilt finish, door glass has a chip in the upper right corner, clock is running and striking though the bell is broken off. 20.25 in. high x 16 in. wide x 5.25 in. deep. Weight: 13.25 lbs.

Bronze Silk Thread Sunflower Clock. 2 tone bronze clock has a 2.5 in. dial with damascened center, black Roman hour numerals and large 5.25 in. flower petal bezel. Open back with a typical round brass spring driven silk thread movement with half hour strike on a bell, movement is dusty. The weighted base resembles a flower pot with 2 ringed handles on the sides, serpentine flower stem rises out of the pot with a dark brown patina and 4 gilt leaves on the sides. Rare and unusual clock in very good condition; missing pendulum. 13.25 in. high.
