Waltham Girandole Banjo Clock: 7" signed painted metal dial with fancy hands, signed 8 day weight driven time only movement, mahogany case with brass trim and bezel, gilted front with rope around throat, original thermometer, original reverse painted Aurora glass (has light flaking), gilted eagle finial, gilt front, 24 stamped under the throat panel, great condition, RARE clock! 41" x 12" x 4" **This clock is FOB which means shipping is ENTIRELY the buyer's resposibility. The clock has typical fancy pierced hands, signed metal painted 6.5 in. dial with black Roman hour numerals, black chapter ring with black minute markers, typical brass 8 day time only movement signed “E. O. Stennes, Weymouth Mass. Steel pendulum rod, brass pulley, brass bob, lock down hardware, lead weight signed – E.O. Stennes. Elaborate Girandole presentation banjo case has a large gilt eagle, elaborate gilt base, solid brass bezel and balls, presentation throat with rope molding and gilt lower door with gilt balls, Aurora lower door signed reverse painted glass and reverse painted Patent throat glass. Case is in good condition with touchu to some gilded balls. 45 in. high x 12 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.
