German Gustav Becker Unusual Ratchet Wind Vienna Regulator Clock, Circa 1880, 8″ printed paper dial with enamel center & seconds bit, 8-day, unusual brass movement, very rare two weight solid plate mechanism with extremely unusual pull cord ratchet winders, lovely mixed wood case has book matched veneers & original carved top, normally clocks of this type wind with a crank, this type of winding system was probably made so the clock can be high on a wall & wound without a ladder, an advanced collectors clock, excellent condition, recently serviced. Height 53″.
