Tiffany & Co. quarter hour repeater carriage clock. 2.5 in. porcelain dial signed ÂTiffany & Co. has black Roman hour numerals, black spade hands and sub alarm dial; brass 8 day spring driven movement has a lever platform escapement , quarter hour strike on 2 coiled gongs with quarter hour repeater button on top of the case, alarm mechanism and switch on the bottom of the case to adjust the strike to Hours and Quarters, Silent or Quarters Only. In a fancy gilt brass case having a wavy form, fancy ionic corner columns, beveled glasses on the doors, sides and top exposing the escapement. Movement is running, striking and repeating; case is refinished. 6.5 in. high x 4 in. wide x 3.5 in. deep. Weight: 5.25 lbs.

Brass case has a turned hinged handle with faux bamboo turned brass corner columns, corner finials, hand painted porcelain side panels with full standing portraits of women and beveled glass on the front, rear door and top, viewing the escapement. Chip on front glass, otherwise in good overall condition, running and striking. 6.5″ high x 4.5″ wide x 4″ deep. Weight: 5.5 lbs.
