In a gilt brass case stamped “Tiffany & Co.” numerous times, has a hinged handle, repeater button on top and beveled glass on the front, sides, rear door and top, viewing the escapement. Filigree engraved oval brass case has beveled and curved glass on the front, sides and rear door as well as on top of the case exposing the escapement; 2.25 in. diameter porcelain dial signed “??, Budapest” has 3 sub dials for the alarm and perpetual calendar with days and dates. Quality French brass spring driven movement with platform lever escapement, quarter hour grand sonnerie strike on 2 coiled gongs, quarter hour grand sonnerie repeater button on top of the case and separate spring for the alarm mechanism; under the bottom of the case is a switch to select Silent, Petite Sonnerie or Grand Sonnerie. In excellent working condition, has small chip on the corner edge of the front and rear glass. 6.25 in. high x 5 in. wide x 4.25 in. deep. Weight: 5 lbs.
