Bonnet with molded pediment over reticulated foliate scroll panel, barley twist columns. Floral marquetry inlaid trunk door and base, on four bun feet. Mixed metal dial, silvered chapter ring, applied cherub decoration in corners. Signed Tho. Harmer East Smithfield. Unsigned time and bell strike movement, overall 77" h. x 17.25" x 10.5". Condition: Missing small piece in reticulated panel, veneer bubble and loss all over, currently running however not guaranteed to continue or keep accurate time. From an exclusive Boston estate. Previously appraised for $5,000.
