A 19th century Terry type Connecticut Banjo clock. 30-hour wooden works time and strike movement with a painted wooden dial and Roman numerals. Mahogany three section case, clear glass dial door over a waist door with reverse painted glass and paneled bottom door. Refinished with restoration to the case, restored dial and waist glass, running momentarily when cataloged. 35 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $1,500-2,500

An early 19th century Willard type Banjo wall clock. 8-day weight driven time only “A frame” movement usually associated with makers in the Newport RI area, with painted metal dial marked “Simon Willard & Son, No. 04719”. Gilded case with Brass arms and restored “B. Esposito” reverse painted throat and door glasses. Some wear and older repairs, several repainted areas. 41″ high.
