Salem Bridge Mantle Clock. 8 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, open center and open moon hands; pierced brass weight driven movement with rack & snail strike mechanism and coiled gong, rectangular iron side weights, brass covered pendulum bob and turned wood pulleys. In a walnut case with applied rosettes, round wood bezel and original paper label in the back that reads Eight Day Repeating Brass Clocks by Spencer & Wooster & Co. Salem Bridge, Conn. In good condition and original finish. 31 in. high x 17 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

Mahogany shelf clock, c. 1840. the cornice is supported by exceptional turned Corinthian double carved columns, painted wood Roman numeral dial, door tablet with reverse-painted scene of a country house, label inside marked in part Eight Day Repeating Brass Clocks, Manufactured by Spencer & Wooster & Co., brass, eight-day, time and rack strike movement powered by two compounded cast iron weights. Beautiful lower glass with gold gilt fruit bowl, nice label. Measures approx. 34″ tall x 18″ wide x 5 1/2″ deep.

A 19th century Spencer & Wooster (Salem Bridge) shelf clock. 8 day time and strike weight driven Brass movement with painted wooden dial. Mahogany case with molded top, single door with clear upper and mirrored lower glasses, flanked by turned columns with carved capitols. Original finish with wear and minor damage. 35 1/2″ high.

Scroll top case with 3 brass finial urns, reverse painted tablet with patriotic theme, hand painted dial with second dial, free standing columns, key wind, pendulum, weight driven early brass works clock. Measures approx. 34″ tall x 17″ wide x 4 12/” deep.

Spencer Wooster & Co Triple Decker Clock c.1840. 9.5 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, sub seconds dial with gilt spandrels and center embellishment, blued spade hands; brass, weight driven movement has rack & snail strike mechanism with coiled gong, brass covered pendulum bob, brass pulleys and large iron weights. In a mahogany case with splayed cornice top, turned double finials on each side, scenic reverse painted tablet in the door and lower reverse painted tablet, both in good condition with some minor flaking to the paint and no inpainting. Clock is in very good, restored condition, clean refinish, dial is nicely repainted and replaced hands. Attr:Spencer Wooster & Co. Salem Bridge, Ct. Very nice form and a rare clock. 34 in. high x 21.5 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.
