Arched patinated bronze case with applied gilt bronze accents and decoration, gilt bronze dial, time and bell strike movement marked with partially obscured stamped "Simon A Paris", overall 15.25" h. x 6.25 "x 5". Currently running however not guaranteed to continue or keep accurate time.

The fine French time piece in the form of a gilt bronze lyre-form tower embellished with acanthus buds and other ornamentation, two figural faun-like cherubs in dark patina on either side, a white marble platform having molded edge trimmed in ormolu with rounded ends and trimmed in ormolu beading, raised on four toupie feet, the clock displayed in the lyre's center has porcelain enamel dial fronting a brass plate time and strike movement signed AD Mougin.
Measures 25 x 13 x 7 inches.
