Original 12 in. painted metal dial has black hour numbers, sub seconds dial, original spade hands, brass bezel and signed Seth Thomas; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement has pyramidal plates, Graham deadbeat escapement with jeweled pallets, maintaining power, quality brass pulley, brass covered weight, brass covered pendulum bob on ebonized wood stick and beat adjustment at the top of the crutch, movement signed with Seth Thomas trade mark. In a hanging mahogany case with long door glass, exposed silvered beat indicator in the back and a dark alligatored original finish. 56 in. high x 16.5 in. wide x 8 in. deep.
