A 19th century Seth Thomas "Regulator No. 2" model wall clock. 8-day weight driven time only movement with a painted metal dial and Roman numerals. Mahogany case with a molded circular upper door and reverse painted lower. Original paper label on weight baffle. Older refinishing with minor wear, dial and lower door glass repainted, running when cataloged. 34" high. ESTIMATE $600-800

Seth Thomas No.9 Regulator. 10 in. Painted metal dial has black Roman hour numerals, 2 in. sub seconds dial, signed Seth Thomas. No. 2, brass, 8 day, time only, weight driven movement has deadbeat escapement, retaining power, mounted on iron bracket, brass weight and pulley, brass covered pendulum bob with ebonized wood stick, in good running condition, has replaced dial board. Cherry case has shell carvings on the crest and corners and scroll carving on the lower crest; refinished. 48 in. high

Seth Thomas No. 1 Rosewood Regulator. 12 in. painted metal dial signed with Seth Thomas trade mark, has black Roman hour numerals, sub seconds and blued spade hands; round brass 8 day time only weight driven Silas B. Terry movement with iron weight, spoked brass pulley, gilt pendulum stick with keystone at the top and brass covered pendulum bob. In a rosewood No. 1 case with reverse painted and gold leaf “Regulator” tablet and original black label on the sliding weight baffle which reads “Seth Thomas Clock Company, Thomaston, Conn”. In good overall condition, case has a cleaned and enhanced original finish, tablet is over-painted black, dial is repainted; movement running, has key winding and locking doors. 34 in. high x 15.5 in. wide x 4.75 in. deep. Weight: 21 lbs.

Seth Thomas Oak Calendar Wall Regulator. 12 in. paper dial has black Roman hour numbers on the chapter ring, Arabic date numbers outside, signed Seth Thomas, has spade time hands and fancy gilt calendar hand; brass 8 day spring driven movement No. 41R, has wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob and brass beat indicator, signed with Seth Thomas trade mark. In an oak case with overhanging cornice top, large glass door panel and lower bracket; overcoated alligatored finish and has some minor veneer flaking and splitting. 35 in. high x 17 in. wide x 6 in. deep.
