Seth Thomas No.3 8 Day Parlor Calendar Clock: time with bell strike, 2- 8″ dials in a rosewood and veneer case. An 1876 label is inside the door. The case is very clean, other than some small indentations on the board, below the door. With key.

A late 19th century Seth Thomas “Calendar No. 2″ model double dial parlor clock. 8-day weight driven time only movement with painted metal dials and lower perpetual calendar. Rosewood case with peaked top. Refinished and re-veneered, dials repainted. 42 1/2” high.

Seth Thomas Double Dial Parlor Calendar Clock No.1. 8 in. paper time dial with black Roman hour numerals and pierced hands; has an 8 day brass lyre shaped, weight driven movement, signed “S. Thomas, Plymouth Conn. U.S.A.”, count wheel half hour strike mechanism with coiled gong, round iron side weights and brass covered pendulum bob. 8 in. lower calendar dial has a 31 date calendar with apertures exposing the month and day cylinders, signed “Southern Calendar Clock Co. St. Louis, MO. Time and calendar mechanisms are in good running condition, paper dials are replaced and cylinder papers are replaced. In a rosewood case with arched top, inset panels and round wood bezels around the dial glasses. 33 in. high x 16 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

Seth Thomas 8 Day Parlor Calendar Clock: The rosewood veneered case has a marked brass movement; painted tin dials – the top one is unmarked and the bottom one reads “Calendar, Patented Sep. 19, 1854; Nov. 17, 1857; Jan. 31, 1860”; nice interior labels and an eagle and flag center decoration. The door key is with the clock.
Not tested.
(The corners of the upper dial are scratched. The lower dial is scratched and scraped. There is a small amount of veneer loss to the case. There are no weights with the clock.)
