Seth Thomas 8 Day, Column Shelf Clock: wood, gong striking works, 10 1/2″ wood dial, partial interior label and 2 replacement glass panes. In a mahogany and veneer case with paw feet, plain columns and shell carved splat. There are old weights, pendulum and a key with it.

A mid 19th century Seth Thomas column shelf clock. 30 hr Brass weight driven time and strike movement with painted metal dial. Rosewood case with half columns, single long door. Old finish with minor damage, replaced dial and lower glass. 25 1/4″ high.

Atkins Half Column Shelf Clock – London Painted metal dial (repainted) has a 5 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals & open moon hands; spring driven movement has pierced brass plates, count wheel strike mechanism and brass covered pendulum bob. Rosewood case has turned half columns, reverse painted tablet and dial glass, lower door allows access to the pendulum bob; paper label in the back reads Atkins Clock Co. Bristol, Conn. 16.5 in. high x 12 in. wide x 5 in. deep.
