Circa 1880 American Seth Thomas 8 Day Shelf Clock with 13″ Good restored painted dials, Weight driven brass movement with perpetual calendar lower movement, Seth Thomas No. 2 Office Calendar. Double dial perpetual calendar in fancy grained rosewood veneer case. Fair condition with minor flaws with some veneer missing on bezel rings and base and a good label in case. Needs cleaning. 42.5″H x 20″W x 6.5″D

Original 8 in. upper time dial signed with Seth Thomas trade mark, black Roman hour numerals, spade hands, 8 in. lower calendar dial with 31 date Arabic numbers with month & day apertures. 8 day, spring driven, brass movement, No. 4 5/8, signed  ÂS. Thomas, Thomaston, Conn. U.S.A.Â, count wheel half hour strike mechanism and bell, brass covered pendulum bob, lower perpetual calendar mechanism with original cylinders and paper labels, in good working condition. Lower dial has minor inpainting. In a walnut case with figure eight door and turned mounts, original glasses, original paper label in the back of the case, original finish, very nice condition. 20 in. high x 12.5 in. wide.
