Rosewood Gilbert Regulator No. 2. 12″ painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, sub seconds and black painted open moon hands; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement has a Graham deadbeat escapement and retaining power, wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob and solid brass pulley with original iron weight. Long drop-octagon style rosewood case with brass upper door and original gold and black reverse painted lower door; signed “Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co.” paper label on the weigh baffle. Case has a cleaned an enhanced original finish, old weight damage repair in the base, lower glass with black and gold border overpainting, repainted dial with extra holes, running. 33.5″ high x 16″ wide x 5.5″ deep. Weight: 23 lbs.

Gilbert Rosewood OG Clock. 5 in. painted metal dial with colorful filigree spandrels, black Roman hour numerals and blued open moon hands; brass 8 day spring driven movement has a count wheel hour strike mechanism on a coiled gong and a brass covered pendulum bob. In a rosewood OG style case in good general condition, enhanced original finish with very minor veneer loss; lower reverse painted tablet with silvered lion & stallion shield and filigree design on a gold background, tablet has some paint loss. Movement is not running and strike mechanism does no hold power when wound. 18.25 in. high x 11.5 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
