In a rosewood case with carved crests, turned columns and center finial; gilt decorated door glass; excellent original finish and condition; original paper label on the back. 12.5″W x 20.5″H x 6″D. Welch Cary VP in Rosewood Case

Description

Welch Cary VP in Rosewood Case: 8 day time and bell striking movement with a 5″ dial. There is a partial label on back . The pressed glass pendulum is the earlier, unmarked variety.

(Not running, the time spring does not catch. The strike spring goes and goes until it is unwound. The inside bottom of the case is scarred and the dial looks new.)

Welch Cary V.P. Patti Rosewood Shelf Clock: Rosewood case with a 8 day time and bell strike standard Patti movement. Circa 1875. Dial is 5″ with a pressed glass pendulum. Good label on the back.

(The back board is cracked, interior bottom has many small dents and scars.)
