Gilbert No. 10 Weight Dirven Hanging Regulator. 10″ paper dial with silvered bezel signed “Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, Conn” has black Roman hour numerals, inset sub seconds and pierced Maltese hands; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement has a Graham deadbeat escapement, retaining power, wooden pendulum stick with brass covered bob and silvered brass pulley with silvered brass covered weight. In a variant walnut case with turned spherical mounts on the carved crest, fancy carved frieze with corner spandrels and lower bracket with incised highlights and inset burled walnut center panel. Case is refinish, extra holes behind the replaced dial, pendulum bob replaced; running condition. 52.5″ high x 18.25″ wide x 7.5″ deep. Weight: 40.25 lbs.

In an oak case with filigree carved pediment crest having a turned center finial with applied filigree spandrels on the door front and lower bracket. Dark red-brown overcoated finish, running. 83″ high x 21.5″ wide x 9.5″ deep.

In a carved walnut No. 25 wall hanging case with maidenÂs head, shell design and filigree on the crest, door is carved with pendant pilasters, raised burled panels, rosettes and a pyramidal form lower bracket with teardrop finial. In very good condition, enhanced & polished finish. 98 in. high x 33 in. wide x 13 in. deep.

Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, ConnÂ, has black incised Roman hour numerals, fancy filigree engraved center, open moon hands and brass bezel; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement with deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, solid brass pulley, brass covered weight and wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob. In a carved oak wall hanging case having a shell and filigree carved crest, beaded door trim with filigree and carved lower bracket with filigree and corbel support. Nice condition with a medium dark brown alligatored original finish, door glass is replaced, silvering is worn off of the dial. 88.75 in. high x 22.5 in. wide x 9.5 in. deep.

Welch Hanging Regulator  D. 11 in. porcelain dial has black Roman hour numbers, open moon hands, sweep seconds hand and silvered brass bezel; typical pinwheel regulator movement, has silvered pinwheel escapement, silvered crutch, silvered brass weight and large silvered gridiron pendulum. In a large walnut case having a carved crest with seashell, flowers and turned finials; the body of the case has a panel door glass and side glasses with surrounding incised, scalloped and scrolled carvings with corbels, rosettes, burled panels and tapered lower bracket. In good overall condition and clean dark brown finish. 90 in. high x 26 in. wide x 10 in. deep.

New Haven Oak Hanging Regulator: spring driven pendulum movement with strike and a 14″ dial. The case has a round top and scroll bottom with a pressed pattern access door below the dial. The time side is working ok.
(The strike side strikes until unwound. The dial door cover is missing. The dial shows some wear and has problems. The scroll on the case’s bottom has a slit.)
