E. Howard No. 10 Figure Eight Wall Clock – Reissue. 8 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, signed E. Howard & Co. Boston; blued open moon hands (tarnished), brass weight driven movement is signed E. Howard & Co, Boston 10, SN 0025 over 12-75, has recoil escapement. Steel pendulum stick, brass bob and lock down hardware on black painted weight baffle with black painted iron weight. Figure 8 walnut case in original finish with no noted losses, reverse painted red, black and gold leaf throat & door glasses. Has original plaque to the purchaser signed by Dana Blackwell June 2, 1976; 33.5 in. high

Howard & Co., BostonÂ, has black Roman hour numerals, blued open moon hands; brass 8 day weight driven No. 59 movement with recoil escapement, has serial number ÂSN-87Â over Â11-77Â (date). Long drop pendulum with an silvered wood stick, silvered bob & lockdown hardware mounted on the maple weight baffle, also numbered 87. In a walnut case with ebonized highlights, has an arched pediment crest and large turned finials, turned columns on the door and teardrop finials below, in excellent condition. Circa 1977. Measures 46 in. high x 15 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.

Howard & Co., Boston; brass 8 day weight driven No. 59 movement with recoil escapement, has serial number 0252 over 10-78. Long drop pendulum with an ebonized wood stick and silvered bob & lockdown hardware mounted on the maple weight baffle. Which is also numbered 252. In a walnut case with ebonized highlights, has an arched pediment crest and large turned finials, turned columns on the door and teardrop finials below, in excellent condition. Circa 1978-9. Measures 46 in. high x 15 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.

Walnut figure 8 case in original finish with no noted losses, original reverse painted black and gold leaf throat & door glasses, some losses to lower glass. Inside the door has a label from E. Howard & Co. with directions for “putting up the clock”. 37 in. high.
