Rare. One of just two models made by Pequegnat with fine, inlaid cases. This early example features a pie-crust bezel housing a painted tin roman numeral dial. Strikes on tuned rods. Winding key included. 17″ x 12.5″ x 7.5″. Original finish exhibits fine, uniform craze. Mechanism complete with correct pendulum bob. Movement plates exhibit heavy wear to the nickel plated surface.

Rare. Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co, Berlin, Canada”. Full reproduction paper label is affixed to centre rear door, marked, “Galt Mantel Clock Made By The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Canada”. A paper seal is affixed to the paper label sold by “J. Pequegnat & Sons Jewellers Guelph, Ontario.”. 7.5″ x 15″ x 10.75″. Quarter cut oak case has its original finish. The painted metal dial has minor scratches in the lower quarter at the 4 and 8. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.

Quarter cut oak case. The “Milton” model is found in three versions, known to collectors as Versions A,B, & C. This is the Milton “B”. Dial is signed “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin, Canada”. Movement is signed, “Pequegnat Clock Co Berlin, Ont”. Full paper label attached to the rear lower quarter, marked “Milton Mantel Clock Made By The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Canada”. 6″ x 10.5″ x 14.5″. Mechanism complete with correct pendulum assembly and winding key.

Mahogany case. Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Canada.” on lower edge. Movement stamped, “Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Ont.”. Full paper label attached to the interior base marked, “Mantel Clock Oxford Made By The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Canada.” A number has been engraved on the lower left quarter of the movement. 5.5″ x 17.5″ x 10.75″. Refinished. Dial exhibits minor porcelain loss surrounding the right winding hole. Mechanism complete with correct pendulum assembly and winding key.

Movement stamped, “Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Ont.”. Full paper label lower rear quarter below the door. 6.5″ x 15.5″ x 10.5″. Quarter cut oak case in original finish. The bezel hinge is loose. The rear panel door has a slight warp. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.

Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co, Berlin, Canada”. A full paper label is affixed to the rear lower quarter marked, “Chatham Mantel Clock. Eight-Day. Half Hour Strike. Cathedral Gong. Made by The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Canada.” Movement stamped, “Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Ont.”. 6.75″ x 12.75″ x 16″. The quarter cut oak case wears its original varnished finish. There is evidence of varnish drip lines and checking to the finish. The painted metal dial has minor scratching to the right of the 3, in the lower quarter at the left key wind and to the upper quarter above the 12. Mechanism complete with correct pendulum assembly and winding key.

Dial stamped, “Pequegnat”. The movement is stamped “Pequegnat Clock Co.” 6″ x 10.75″ x 10″. Case refinished. The once-painted dial is now bare metal with incised numbers. The bezel exhibits oxidation. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.
