Among Pequegnat’s more original designs. Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co Berlin, Canada” on lower edge. Movement stamped, “Pequegnat Clock Co Berlin, Ont.”. 6″ x 13″ x 21″. Oak case retains original finish with uniform surface craze. Mechanism complete with correct pendulum assembly and winding key. Dial exhibits paint craze and light discolouration. A paper label is attached the lower quarter of the rear door. Another label had been placed over top.

This example retains its original maker’s tag from Baetz Bros Furniture. One would have to conclude that Baetz ordered tall case clock parts from Pequegnat and made the case. Oak case. This rare variant features a beveled glass front door flanked by Jacobean rope twist columns. Includes door key. Rear case tagged, “Baetz Bros Furniture Co.”. Rear movement movement plate signed, “Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin, Ont”. 84″ x 22″ x 15″. Original finish. Mechanism complete with original weights, chains and pendulum.

Walnut case. Beveled glass front door. Rear movement movement plate incised, “Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin ON”. Full paper, rear case door. 81.5″ x 20″ x 13″. Original finish exhibits light, uniform craze. Veneer separation and loss to lower right and left sides of case. Light touched up scratches to left side column. Mechanism complete with original weights, chains and pendulum.

Full paper label affixed to the centre interior rear door marked, “Hamilton Eight-Day mantel Clock The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Kitchener, Canada.”. 6.5″ x 15″ x 11.5″. The left column is loose. The painted metal dial has scattered minor scratches. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.

There is evidence of charring from a fire to the rear lower quarter below the door. The distressed copper tone bezel shows oxidation. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.
