Full paper, upper rear case. 22.5″ x 15.5″ x 5.25″. Original finish exhibits heavily darkened surface. Replaced dial inserts. Bezel is loose. Original maple leaf glass. Light separation at left side of base. Mechanism is complete with correct “maple leaf” pendulum assembly.

Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co, Berlin, Canada” lower edge. 22.25″ x 15.5″ x 5.25″. Original finish. Paper dial exhibits heavy soiling and discolouration. Repaired horizontal split to upper 2.5″ of top. Original maple leaf glass is free of cracks. Mechanism complete with correct “maple leaf” pendulum assembly.

Quarter sawn oak case. One of three variations of the “Maple Leaf” model offered from Pequegnat. This is known to collectors as the “fan top”. Retains full label, rear case, protected under varnish. Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Canada” on lower edge. 22.5″ x 15.5″ x 5″. Original finish under varnish. Dial exhibits heavy uniform soil and minor material loss at 12 o’clock. Maple leaf glass is original and free of cracks. Mechanism complete with correct “maple leaf” pendulum assembly and winding key.

The 2nd issue “Maple Leaf” was offered in two distinct styles referred to by collectors as the “Pointed Top” and “Round Top”. This is the “Pointed Top” example. Full paper label attached to the upper back marked, “Maple Leaf Kitchen Clock, Eight Day, Half Hour Gong”. Made by, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Canada”. Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin, Canada” on lower edge. Movement incised, “Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin Ont.” on front plate. 4.75″ x 12.75″ x 22.75″. A corner piece of the applied decorative moulding on the 1st quarter has been re-glued. There is a 2.5 inch horizontal grain split to the left of the dial. The gold “maple leaf” glass is in near perfect condition. The original paper dial exhibits heavy soiling and surface loss. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.

The 2nd issue “Maple Leaf” was offered in two distinct styles referred to by collectors as the “Pointed Top” and “Round Top”. This is the “Round Top” example. The dial is signed on the lower quarter “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co, Berlin, Canada.” Full paper label attached to the upper quarter at the back is marked, “Maple Leaf Kitchen Clock, Eight Day, Half Hour Gong”. Made by, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Canada”. 5″ x 12.5″ x 21.5″. Solid case with Quarter cut oak base. Decorative molding on the 1st quarter. There is a hairline grain split at the right lower quarter that runs 3 inches and can be seen on the interior as well. The paper dial has minor staining. The gold lettraset maple leaf design on the glass is in near perfect condition. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.

Dial signed lower quarter “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co Berlin”. Partial label on reverse. 5.5″ x 18.25″ x 24″. Replacement King Edward decal with partial adhesion. Retains correct maple leaf pendulum, paper dial, and movement. One tight split with old filler intersects the upper quarter of the case. Dial shows oxidation with open and closed tears.
