Canadian. 1910s. Quarter sawn oak. 8-day spring driven time & strike mechanism. Strikes a gong once for each hour, on the hour and a bell on each half hour. Marked, "The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin, Canada" lower edge of dial and movement. Exhibits minor discolouration and craze to the painted dial. 11.5" H x 17.5" W x 7.25" D.

Strikes on tuned rods. Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Canada”. 7″ x 17.5″ x 11.5″. Mahogany case with original finish with significant craze. The porcelain dial has a scratch that runs from the centre dial to the 12. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.

Quarter sawn oak cabinet, cast feet, Corinthian capitals and bases. Reproduction lead pendulum bob. Early maintenance history is marked on the interior back panel. Dial marked lower quarter “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin Canada”. Movement stamped, “Pequegnat Clock Co Berlin, Ont” 7″ x 17.5″ x 11.5″. Oak case exhibits light, uniform craze. Minor impact to the right rear cornice. Brass bezel shows minor oxidation. Painted dial exhibits light active flaking. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.

Rare black variant. These rare “Black” variant clocks exhibit unique features not found on the typical “Grecian” clocks. Notice the fancy scroll work in the case surrounding the dial and on the base. This example features the early “Pine Cone” bezel. A partial paper label is affixed to the lower rear quarter. 7.25″ x 17.5″ x 11.75″. Professionally restored. The clock case is painted black with faux marble painted columns and plinths. The case top is slightly loose. The feet and Corinthian capitals and bases retain their original finish. Mechanism complete with correct pendulum assembly and winding key.
