Mahogany. Strikes on tuned rods. Dial stamped, “Pequegnat” in the upper quarter. A partial paper label attached to the interior rear door is marked, “Capitol Eight-Day Mantel Clock.” Made by “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co, Kitchener, Canada”. Movement stamped, “Pequegnat Clock Co.”. 4.5″ x 21″ x 9.5″. Original case finish with light, uniform craze. The silvered dial is in very good condition. The mechanism is complete with correct pendulum and winding key.

Oak Ansonia Capitol Wall Regulator. 8 in. sunken paper dial with brass bezel, black Roman hour numerals, sub seconds bit and repainted black spade hands; 8 day, spring driven, time only movement has polished silvered plates, Graham deadbeat escapement, iron bracket and flanged dial bracket. Polished brass covered pendulum bob and ebony wood stick, silvered brass beat indicator is signed Ansonia Clock co. Oak case has and arched crest with gilt brass maidens head, turned finials, fluted half column turnings on the door and lower bracket with teardrop finials; refinished case has a nice deep brown color and is in very good condition. 54 in. high.
