The George M. Hendry Co. was a Canadian school furniture supplier early in the 20th Century. Dial signed, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Canada” on lower edge. The dial is marked in the upper quarter “The Geo. Hendry Co. Ltd. Toronto” and stamped in the 2nd quarter “Made in Canada”. Movement incised, “Pequegnat Clock Co.” on plate. 4.5″ x 16″ x 26.5″. Refinished case. The painted metal dial exhibits active flaking and surface scratches. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.

Berlin, Canada.” Movement incised, “Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin Ont.” on plate. 4.5″ x 17″ x 27″. Oak case in original finish. Surface loss to dial.

A full paper label is affixed to the upper quarter of the rear panel marked, “Brandon Eight-Day Wall Clock Made by the Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Kitchener, Canada”. Movement incised, “Pequegnat Clock Co” plate. 4.5″ x 16″ x 26.5″. Refinished case. Brass door latches are intact and functional. The original metal dial is free of restoration. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.
